Bilingual Licensed Insurance Agent

This is a full-time, in-person position: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. You will be responsible for quoting and writing in our personal and/or commercial lines departments and expected to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to the insured and insurance companies, as well as potential customers. In addition to the specific qualifications below, the ideal candidate is a team player who loves to learn. You are a self-starter, a good problem solver, and very resourceful with excellent customer service and communication skills. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • P&C insurance license
  • 1-2 years insurance experience
  • 3-5 years customer service experience
  • Experience with insurance quoting
  • Bilingual: fluent and able to communicate professionally in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide service to our personal insurance clients. Meet their needs well and retain them as clients.
  • Manage overall client relationship, working closely with them and providing excellent customer service in the course of day-to-day account management
  • Prepare proposals
  • Answer phones and greet clients in a warm and professional manner at all times

Bilingual Office Assistant / Customer Service Rep

We’re looking for dedicated and detail-oriented office assistant/customer service representative who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, supporting our agents, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. We prefer to hire for a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm) but will also consider candidates with part-time availability. This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone
  • Manage and organize office files, records, and documents
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate client information
  • Provide administrative support to agents and management
  • Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the office runs efficiently
  • Perform other general office duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: fluent and able to communicate professionally in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Previous experience in an office environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook email
  • Basic math skills
  • An upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
